Conceived as a brutalist desk companion for capturing late-night thoughts, this object functions as both light source and organiser. Folded stainless steel provides structural clarity and weight, while softened edges lend a calmer presence. Its reflective glow tempers the rigour of the form, creating an atmosphere for work and reflection.
The upper ridge is designed to hold pens, the base to accommodate post-it notes, and the vertical planes keep reminders visible, supporting thoughts as they emerge. Beyond the desk, it adapts to daily essentials like keys or sunglasses and integrates seamlessly into any setting, from bedside table to hallway, with its contemporary presence. Combining illumination and storage in a compact, versatile form, it supports daily organisation while leaving space for the unexpected ideas that so often arrive late at night.
